What make this CD is that it was made with the help of The Cocteau Twins and it sound not like any Chinese pop music I have ever heard. It sound very much like the Cocteau Twins and they write some of the music for the album. Faye Wong is a Buddhist and a critic I read say she weaves in teachings of transience and disengagement that can also be found in her previous and later albums. (I not sure excactly what that means. But it sounds important!)
Again I read that this is Faye Wong's own favorite CD, the fan response from Hong Kong and Taiwan was not good--they considered to be weird, self-absorbed, and too brief. And this is funny. In Hong Kong and Taiwan have 100's of CDs that sound exacly the same. Why people angry when 1 singer try to be different.

After this. She not do CD same again. Even if not same again. She has many others that also good. And I hope maybe in the future I share more of this very talented singer! The only problem is try to know what CDs and songs have release new and what CDs and songs and DVDs and VCDs are same old versions with new covers. Here is warning. If go to Chinatown can find 100's of different Faye Wong material. The problem is most of them just copys of the same CDs made to look different.´
